i.    Station Manager – Snake on the Lake is SATURDAY! We will be flyering Thursday and Friday on Library Mall. We need to find a screen and projector for Tortoise.&lt;br /&gt;

k.    General Manager&#45; Main Towers entrance will be closed for the next 2&#45;3 weeks. Keep brown lobby door locked. Thinking about switching from BSI to a new automation system.&lt;br /&gt;

      <description>My name is Jennifer Underwood and I would like to declare my candidacy for WSUM Station Manager 2009. I have learned so much this past year working as a Traffic Director on the WSUM Executive Management Team. I plan to use this experience to make the station&apos;s transition to the New Year and new building a smooth one.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Aside from the WSUM Executive Management Team, I have also held leadership positions through Powers&#45;Knapp (PK) Scholars, a scholarship program on campus that works to promote diversity and the success of historically underrepresented scholars. Through PK, I have been able to hone the interpersonal skills necessary to assist in leading a large group of people. Furthermore, I have recently completed an internship through Broadcast Interactive Media (BIM), a company that develops and maintains revenue&#45;generating websites for media stations across the country. My time with BIM sharpened my attention to detail and required me to organize content and ad space for over 160 media stations. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
My time as Traffic Director has only strengthened my commitment to WSUM. I hope that everyone who is, or becomes a member of WSUM has the opportunity to experience the station the way I have been able to. It is my goal that all members feel welcome at the station whether they are a new trainee, a fifth&#45;year senior, a community member, or anything in between. Everything that we do at the station depends on DJ involvement and I will help to create a station environment that makes everyone feel comfortable and invited. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I am dedicated to the success of WSUM. I will make it my priority to be available to everyone and make every DJ&apos;s experience within the WSUM family a positive one. </description>

a.    Traffic Directors – Current Project – Ripping CD’s to media drive for BSI, selling CD’s at Maxwell St. Days. Still need to rip more and sort them for pricing.&lt;br /&gt;
b.    Program Director – Training is finished, and new DJ’s have been assigned show times.&lt;br /&gt;
c.    Community Outreach Coordinator – Early August  AIDS ACT 7 Ride, Volunteers needed  for the day of the event. Also August 9, we will be DJing for the event. No money acquired, but we get our logo on their t&#45;shirts. &lt;br /&gt;
d.    Fundraising Coordinator &lt;br /&gt;
e.    Music Director – Vinyl is up, Library looks nice. Charts are being done.&lt;br /&gt;
f.    Production Director – Listening to sound effects, emailed DJs about making show promos.&lt;br /&gt;
g.    Promotions Director – Still need volunteers for Maxwell St Days. Also possibility of DJing at the first night of the Overture? &lt;br /&gt;
h.    Talk Director – Looking for Missing Digital Recorder! Working on checkout system. Also trying to fix confusion about aircheck tapes in the sports department.&lt;br /&gt;
i.    Station Manager – SOTL Fest is shaping up. Finding acts, and still trying to solidify headlining act.  Met with local artist JT who seems pretty solid, and willing to play.&lt;br /&gt;
j.    Technical Director&lt;br /&gt;
k.    General Manager – College for Kids is over, but there is going to be a Radio Journalism class for three weeks starting next week(?) Website is stagnant at the moment, and needs some updating. DJs have been having some problems with access to the station, email has been sent addressing the issue.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
V.    Old business&lt;br /&gt;
a.    SOTL Funding – Still trying to find businesses to provide funds, going to hit up State St businesses.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
VI.    New business&lt;br /&gt;
a.    Maxwell Street Days – Setting up at 7 am. People have been asking for playlist CDs.&lt;br /&gt;
