Location: Station Conference room (333 e campus mall) Suite 4100&lt;br /&gt;

I.    Call to order&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
II.    Open forum&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
III.    Amend and approve agenda&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
IV.    Exec&#45;Man updates &lt;br /&gt;
a.    Traffic Directors – Current Project – Ripping CD’s to media drive for BSI, selling CD’s at Maxwell St. Days. Still need to rip more and sort them for pricing.&lt;br /&gt;
b.    Program Director – Training is finished, and new DJ’s have been assigned show times.&lt;br /&gt;
c.    Community Outreach Coordinator – Early August  AIDS ACT 7 Ride, Volunteers needed  for the day of the event. Also August 9, we will be DJing for the event. No money acquired, but we get our logo on their t&#45;shirts. &lt;br /&gt;
d.    Fundraising Coordinator &lt;br /&gt;
e.    Music Director – Vinyl is up, Library looks nice. Charts are being done.&lt;br /&gt;
f.    Production Director – Listening to sound effects, emailed DJs about making show promos.&lt;br /&gt;
g.    Promotions Director – Still need volunteers for Maxwell St Days. Also possibility of DJing at the first night of the Overture? &lt;br /&gt;
h.    Talk Director – Looking for Missing Digital Recorder! Working on checkout system. Also trying to fix confusion about aircheck tapes in the sports department.&lt;br /&gt;
i.    Station Manager – SOTL Fest is shaping up. Finding acts, and still trying to solidify headlining act.  Met with local artist JT who seems pretty solid, and willing to play.&lt;br /&gt;
j.    Technical Director&lt;br /&gt;
k.    General Manager – College for Kids is over, but there is going to be a Radio Journalism class for three weeks starting next week(?) Website is stagnant at the moment, and needs some updating. DJs have been having some problems with access to the station, email has been sent addressing the issue.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
V.    Old business&lt;br /&gt;
a.    SOTL Funding – Still trying to find businesses to provide funds, going to hit up State St businesses.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
VI.    New business&lt;br /&gt;
a.    Maxwell Street Days – Setting up at 7 am. People have been asking for playlist CDs.&lt;br /&gt;

a.    Traffic Directors – Everything is A&#45;ok.&lt;br /&gt;
b.    Program Director – The fall show procedures will begin in the next two weeks.&lt;br /&gt;
c.    Community Outreach Coordinator  &#45; Collaboration with Madison Verve for advertising is looking like a possibility. WSUM could have a table at Michael Jackson tribute event in August.&lt;br /&gt;
d.    Fundraising Coordinator  &#45; 5k has been raised for SOTL! Allie is waiting to hear back from more potential sponsors as well. &lt;br /&gt;
e.    Music Director &lt;br /&gt;
f.    Production Director – Show promos are coming along nicely.&lt;br /&gt;
g.    Promotions Director  &#45; Shirt designs for SOTL are underway. Contact Katie if you have ideas.&lt;br /&gt;
h.    Talk Director &lt;br /&gt;
i.    Station Manager – A headliner for SOTL is in the works, but not quite confirmed.&lt;br /&gt;
j.    Technical Director &lt;br /&gt;
k.    General Manager – College For Kids and American Collegiate Adventures programs are going well. Dave will be out of town next weekend and August 9th.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
V.    Old business&lt;br /&gt;
a.    Maxwell St. Days – We got kicked off after one day since we are not on State St. anymore. Friday’s sales went well though.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
VI.    New business&lt;br /&gt;
a.    Has anyone seen Ny? &#45; No one has seen Ny. Where is he?&lt;br /&gt;
b.    Overture Thing – The Center For the First Year Experience would like to contract WSUM to work at a “freshman dance party.”&lt;br /&gt;
c.    Madison Verve – see community outreach&lt;br /&gt;
d.    Kari’s Idea! : Red Cross – More forthcoming.&lt;br /&gt;
e.    Gabe’s “Birthday Party” – He’s growing up so fast…&lt;br /&gt;

a.    Traffic Directors: WBA Awards are coming up. Please submit something. &lt;br /&gt;
b.    Program Director: Eric Moody presented some statistics regarding the trainee exams (something like 14% of trainees classify “coastie” as profane.), Presented Philip Gilreath (new program director as of Jan. 1) with the “program rod” SHOW PROPOSALS DUE MONDAY DECEMBER !&lt;br /&gt;
c.    Community Outreach Coordinator: Passed around a sign&#45;up sheet for people interested in hosting/attending dance parties over winter break. Please donate food and toys to the food and toy drives. Leave your donations in the bins near the lobby entrance. Dan presented Cory Schultz (new community outreach coordinator) with the “community outreach bat.”&lt;br /&gt;
d.    Fundraising Coordinator NA&lt;br /&gt;
e.    Music Director NA&lt;br /&gt;
f.    Production Director: Consider making a show promo for next semester! Email: prod at wsum dot org for assistance.&lt;br /&gt;
g.    Promotions Director: In the process of ordering some new merch (tote&#45;bags, shirts, aluminum water bottles)! Jenny also put together a powerpoint of photographic WSUM memories from the 2008 calander year which played on loop while people arrived.&lt;br /&gt;
h.    Talk Director: Reminder to be careful about putting guests on the air. Use the dump button if you need to! THERE IS NO PENALTY FOR PRESSING THE DUMP BUTTON!&lt;br /&gt;
i.    Station Manager: Please keep the station clean! Station property has been going missing and we’re trying to get to the bottom of it. If you have any info, email traffic at wsum dot org. Y Mae has been working with Jen Herritz to put together a housewarming party for our new station.&lt;br /&gt;
j.    Technical Director: Talk to him if you have any questions including questions about the new place.&lt;br /&gt;
k.    General Manager: Goodbye and Thanks to graduating senior Willie Maclaren. Dave also thanked and highlighted the terms of all execman members since January 2007.&lt;br /&gt;

b.    Program Director: Open Schedule over Thanksgiving break&#45;email prog at wsum dot org if you wish to keep your slot. Moody presented a Power Point about correcting problems on the program log… it was pretty rad and you should ask him about it if you are unsure about something.&lt;br /&gt;
c.    Community Outreach Coordinator: Thanks to everyone who came out to help with/dance on the homecoming float! Please put food into the silver box by the door for the food drive!&lt;br /&gt;
d.    Fundraising Coordinator &lt;br /&gt;
e.    Music Director &lt;br /&gt;
f.    Production Director: Did not have a Power Point with fancy slides, but you should make a promo for your show. He will help you if you need it prod at wsum dot org&lt;br /&gt;
g.    Promotions Director: In the process of ordering some new merch (tote&#45;bags, shirts, aluminum water bottles)!&lt;br /&gt;
h.    Talk Director: Wants you to know that her job will be available next semester, but be aware that you have to look good to be the talk director (not a real requirement), talk to her if you are interested in applying and want more info. Election night was “bliss.” Thanks to everyone who helped out. News room is looking dirty and that sucks! Please keep it clean. Members with talk shows need to get public service logs to Jonna.&lt;br /&gt;

a.    Station Manager Election: Voting was done at the end of the meeting.&lt;br /&gt;
