This past week marked the end of five weeks of WSUM’s summer camp partnership with PreCollege Options summer programs: College For Kids I, Tech & the Arts, and College For Kids II. Our camp leaders thoroughly enjoyed working with middle and high-school aged young adults and teaching them what they know about radio dramas, broadcast engineering, and broadcast radio in general! Many field trips, on-air experiences, and games of Catchphrase were had.
Special thanks also goes out to our interns for the summer, Amira C., Tyler S., and Ronan D., from the Information Technology Academy. We thoroughly enjoyed having your smiling faces around the station and appreciate your hard work — we hope to see you soon on the UW-Madison campus and in the WSUM studios!
