Vive Wisconsin! Dead Horses, a bluegrass band from Oshkosh, delivers toe-tapping good ole' country by way of fiddle, mandolin, guitar, double bass and the amazing old soul voice of Sarah Vos, evocative of First Aid Kit's Klara Soderberg.
However, you also have the feeling that her lungs could burst open a la Susan Tedeschi or Melissa Etheridge and blow us all down. If I could have my way, Dead Horses would share the stage with Count This Penny and be both lovely and foot stomping together.
