Why do one show when you can play two?
That's the Floozies attitude as they head into Madison on Thursday, February 19th and Friday, February 20th, both at the Majestic Theatre. Their new album Do Your Thing is receiving critical acclaim from the electronic world and as shows continue to sell out, this electronic-funk duo heads into the Midwest after touring on the West coast.
The Floozies are just two brothers, producer/guitarist Matt Hill and drummer Mark Hill, but their music is more than just two instruments. Their ability to produce crazy electronic sounds while maintaining rocking bass lines energizes crowds and turns venues into dance marathons. Both shows will open with Russ Liquid and Artifakts. Like the Floozies, Russ Liquid is a mix of funk and disco, while Artifakts is a one-man electronic hip-hop show featuring Garret Meyer.
Tickets are currently sold out for Friday but are available Thursday. Both shows have doors open at 9 PM, with a 10 PM show.
