For anyone who has ever watched Arrested Development, David Cross is a comedy hero. Whether standing in for the Blue Man Group or confronting his debilitating never nude state, Cross exemplifies a fan favorite character. Other fans may know the comedian from his sketch comedy career with Bob Odenkirk, on Mr. Show and the recently released Netflix series With Bob and David. Cross also garners a cult following with his IFC show, The Increasingly Bad Decisions of Todd Margaret. But a stand up comic? Not this comedian.

Well, break out the denim jean shorts. David Cross is embarking on his first standup comedy tour in six years, entitled ’Making America Great Again!’. On his Facebook page, Cross explains his absence by stating: “I was very busy writing for The View, but now that the kids are off to college, my wife’s regiment has been transferred to McMurdo Station in the South Pole, and I’m near completion on Fallout 4, it’s time to start up the bus and bring my patented, fart-inducing laugh winces to a town near you.”

The show is intended to be a mix of observational, silly jokes, and anecdotal humor. With a tour name that alludes to the infamous Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, there is likely to be a fair share of political humor thrown into the mix. Wherever the humor for the evening heads, it’s sure to be a fantastic evening of laughs.
