The UW-Madison Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) hosted the annual Spring Festival Gala to celebrate the Chinese New Year of Monkey. Around 1,000 audience from local Chinese community attended the event at Shannon Hall, Memorial Union on Sunday, Feb. 7. This year's gala included not only performances ranging from singing, dancing and magic shows but also fireworks on the frozen Lake Mendota.
