Hey On Wisconsin Listeners! It's been awhile since we've written to you. We had an awesome show Monday and wanted to make sure you're caught up with everything going on in the studio.

We were joined by Clean Room, who you may have heard on Friday during Live@WSUM! We got to talk to them a little bit more about some of their songs, and dove into talking about their song called “Yerself” which talks about mental health and suicidal ideation. May is coming up, and May is also Mental Health Awareness Month, so it was a perfect time to have this discussion on a deeply personal level.

We also want to make sure you, our listeners, are aware of mental health resources on campus if you ever need them. More information about resources can be found at www.uhs.wisc.edu/mental-health and the UHS 24-Hour Crisis Hotline is (608) 265-5600, option 9. If you're a non-Madison listener, the national Suicide Hotline is 1-800-273-8255.

Clean Room also told us about some cool events coming up, such as shows on May 2nd at The Frequency and on May 5th at 100 State. Also, they've got a great event coming up on May 21st called “Ultimate Birthday” which will be a benefit concert for suicide prevention resources. Thanks for coming to On Wisconsin, Clean Room!

We also had a great interview with WASB. Our very own Logan Garcia met with them to talk about All Campus Party week, specifically about the Day of Service on Wednesday, April 26th. You can find more information about All Campus Party and Day Of Service on their website http://www.allcampusparty.org.

Next week is our last show, which is both exciting and sad. Sad because some of us are leaving, but exciting because we all love summer! To top off a great semester, we've got a local author coming in to talk about her next book, and we'll close out the show by interviewing ourselves! We want you listeners to know where we're heading and a little bit more about who's been behind the mics this semester.

Anyways, that's the show recap for Monday, April 24th. Tune in next week for our last show of the semester!!! You don't want to miss it.
