This Friday the Majestic will host Pigeons Playing Ping Pong. Described as the ‘lesser-known band' that ‘steals the show' at a festival, PPPP is the jam band starter pack for funk and groove. Made up of Greg Ormont and Jeremy Schon on vocals and guitar, Ben Carrey on bass and vocals, and Alex Petropulos on ‘drumagic and electro-swag,' the group prefers to describe themselves as end of the world enthusiastic high-energy psychedelic funk. Touring consistently since 2009 (playing as many as two hundred shows a year), PPPP has garnered a healthy following coined ‘the flock,' drawn in by electro-funk grooves and danceable peaks.
