Joyce Manor will be coming to Madison on October 22. They will be performing at the High Noon Saloon, joined by the indie rock duo Vundabar, who is coming off the release of their second studio album Smell Smoke earlier this year. Also, freshly joining the tour will be Allie Hanlon of the band Peach Kellie Pop, who released the album Gentle Leader in May. Joyce Manor was formed in Los Angeles by Barry Johnson (Vocals/Guitar) and Chase Knobbe (Guitar). The band is a nicely-made mix of emo and indie rock. Barry Johnson will be sure to bring the energy with his impassioned and emotional vocals. The guitar is punchy and drives the songs in a way that is fun and easy to listen to. The band has recently released the album Million Dollars to Kill Me on September 21st, which was their fifth studio album. This show is bound to bring bountiful energy from all acts involved. Couple that with a great venue and this show is a can’t miss. Doors will open at 7:00, and the show will be starting at 8:00.
