The students, faculty and staff of UW-Madison were alerted just after 12 p.m. today of an armed man suspected of holding up a Pizza Hut on South Park Street.
WiscAlert-Police are investigating an armed robbery at Pizza Hut, 520 S. Park Street. The suspect was last seen in the Arboretum. Please avoid the area.

The man absconded to the UW-Madison Arboretum where he remained until a combined effort from the UWPD, Madison police and the Dane County Sheriff's Office apprehended him at approximately 2:30. The man, who police later named as Christian C Killian, was carrying a revolver and had been spotted earlier near St. Mary's Hospital, according to Madison police spokesman Joel DeSpain.
This is the 21st robbery of the year in Madison.
