Dillon Francis and Alison Wonderland Review

Author: Sean Borman

Dillon Francis and Alison Wonderland kicked off their Lost my Mind tour this past Thursday, at the Sylvee in a blaze of color and excitement.

Heading off the night was Diablo, cloaked in a devilish, red light. He brought the beat, mixing things up with remixes the crowd could vibe to. Everyone found their places and let the music groove them until Diablo finished his set with a couple feral tracks that set the mood for Alison’s set. Overall his performance was well received, and he brought a good energy.

Alison Wonderland came out shortly after and broke whatever silent hesitation was left in the crowd with a sound that resonated for the rest of the night. Her set was highlighted by music from her new album Awake and supported by tracks from her previous album Run. There wasn’t a barren moment after she took the stage, and everyone in the crowd could feel it.

To seal the deal, Dillon Francis came out in the throes of excitement and blew the whole place open with hits like “Coming Over” and his early hit “Love in the Middle of a Firefight”, which he ended the night on. The light show that came with him was fiercely energetic, screened behind and in front with animations and pictures that awed the crowd. We expected a great show and they brought it, and more.

Each of their energies were unbelievably magnetic, and if any of these artists return I’m certain to be going back for more.
