As their name implies, Surf Curse can sure put a spell on you. The wave of enthusiasm for the surf-rock infused, jangle-pop sounds on their third album “Heaven Surrounds You” is carrying them across the country on tour, and they're here to hang ten on it. So when the band washed up in Madison (almost quite literally, as they were greeted with a rainstorm) for a show at The Sett, we had to get them to drop into the studio. Join Sam Buisman as he sits down with the band's founders and co-frontmen Nick Rattigan and Jacob Rubeck to chat impossible burgers, French cinema, power lifting and, oh yeah, their music. It was pretty gnarly, dude.
