Madison police respond to robbery at East-side Chili's.

Madison Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Chili's nearby East Towne Mall Tuesday evening.
While the store manager was closing the restaurant, they were approached by a man who claimed to have a weapon in his possession, Channel 3000 reports.
Upon the confrontation, the manager was forced back inside the Chili's by the robber. It is not known how much cash was stolen from the register. The man fleeted after securing the cash, running North-bound across East Washington Ave.
As the man has not yet been identified, the police are actively investigating the armed robbery.
Police are in the process of securing video footage. The incident report describes the man as slim, standing about 5 foot 8 inches and was wearing a blue surgical mask, a black hoodie, black hat and black pants.
