Battle of the Bands 2021

Game Theory consists of 4 individuals, Ben Newman (Vocals, Guitar, Production), Hunter Weber (Bass), Cree Faber (Vocals, Ocarina, Mandolin, Didgeridoo, Visual Arts Manager), and Carl Youel (Keys, Pads, Synths), who met their first week at UW-Madison in the Studio Learning Community (which houses all types of artists together on the same residence floor and provides multiple spaces for collaborative creativity).

Kat and the Hurricane is a queer and non-binary band based in Madison, WI. Their song submission is ‘Sorry That I'm Like This,' a synth-soaked bop of a queer anthem and one of their all-time favorites to perform live.
