The University of Wisconsin Foundation is the official fundraising and gift-receiving organization for the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Each year, the UW Foundation transfers gift and investment income to departments within UW–Madison. When you make a donation to the WSUM Fund through UW Foundation, you are contributing to an endowment which ensures the financial stability of the station and supports our technical capabilities – both now and in the future.

Friends of Madison Student Radio

 Friends of Madison Student Radio is WSUM's 501(c)(3) fundraising board that serves in good faith for the needs and interests of WSUM and its contributors. Board members are responsible for overseeing and administering donated funds to WSUM. When you make a donation to Friends of Madison Student Radio, you are contributing to a discretionary fund that supports the station by financing student scholarships, WSUM-hosted community events like Party in the Park, and the creation of branded merchandise.
