After four years, Big Thief returns to Madison on July 27th at the Sylvee in support of their fifth album Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe In You. They will be accompanied by Nick Hakim. This will be the band's second time playing the Sylvee. 

Following the release of the album in 2022 the band toured, however this will be their first time in Madison on this album cycle. Frontwoman Adrianne Lenker played a sold out solo show at the High Noon back in 2021 and received high praise from critics and fans alike. 

Dragon is an exciting body of work that ranges from slow ballads to pop-tracks and even some Western inspired songs. Known for her soft and airy vocals, Lenker brings a different energy to her life performances with fuller vocals and shouts that range from little quips to guttural screams. 

Dragon sets Big Thief up for an exciting show allowing the band to weave between genres and showcase Lenker's stunning vocals throughout the night.
