Combining catchy melodies with honest, unapologetic lyrics, Liz Phair championed the 90s and early 2000s as a leader in the indie rock scene.  Attracting controversy and fans alike, it's no question that Liz Phair knows how to grab attention.

Phair was born in Connecticut, raised in Chicago, and subsequently brought her rock sound to the world.  Her debut album “Exile in Guyville” thrust her onto the scene, and in the decades since, Liz Phair can be heard in every crack and crevice of indie rock today.

30 years on from “Exile in Guyville,” Phair is taking the seminal album on the road to perform it live in its entirety.  You can catch her and her timeless sound, with opener Kate Bollinger, in Madison on December 8th, 2023 at The Sylvee!
