Done with finals? Don't know how to celebrate? I've got you.
Regardless of how things went—you're done! Now it's time to revel in your newfound freedom. Here is a diverse list of twenty options to help you celebrate and enjoy your winter break.
- Scream With Joy!
Go find somewhere to yell really, really loud. For the best results, I recommend the outdoors. Perhaps in the middle of the woods, at the top of Bascom or by a large body of water. But anywhere really should work.
- Discover New Music
Now that your schedule has freed up a bit, you might have more time to scour the deepest and darkest realms of the internet for new music! Or, you could tune into WSUM to hear what your fellow Badgers are listening to.
- Learn a Craft
Knitting, crocheting, embroidery, pottery, painting, the list goes on and on. Free time is the best time to get good at something.
- Watch a Documentary
Just because class is not in session does not mean the learning has to end.
- Read As Many Books As Possible
You can spend your free time reading! It doesn't even have to be boring. Close those textbooks and open up some fiction or whatever is your speed.
- Learn How To Make a New Dish
Utilize the power of the internet, or even better, an old cookbook. Pick something that catches your eye, and boom, master a new dish. Your roommates will thank you when you return to campus and show off.
