I've been itching to see MUNA live again since seeing them open for Phoebe Bridgers back in 2021. They had me hooked with “Silk Chiffon,” and the rest of their 2022 self-titled album is just as infectious and freeing. Their sound is reminiscent of 2000-2010s pop hits, but with a refreshing taste that feels so definitive of this decade. They have an electrifying energy on stage that can even get a crowd of Phoebe Bridgers fans having fun and dancing.

Carly Rae Jepsen

Speaking of having fun and dancing, Saturday night's red stage headliner is none other than the empress of pop, Carly Rae Jepsen. Her mega hits of the 2010s have been followed by some of the most underrated pop albums of the decade so far, including 2022's The Loneliest Time and 2023's The Loveliest Time. It's my year of embracing girly music, and what better way to celebrate than with a live Carly Rae Jepsen performance.

Doss and Jamie xx

Though I missed a few of them, the electronic sets I saw at Pitchfork fest last year ended up being some of my favorites of the whole weekend. The singles off of Jamie xx's upcoming album are already some of the best of the year, and Doss's “Strawberry” was an instant classic for me, personally. Trust I will not be missing either of their sets this year.

L'rain

L'rain's sound is so unique and captivating, I was so excited to see her name on this year's lineup. I Killed Your Dog (2023) is an experimental masterpiece, so sonically and lyrically complex that it had me stopping and rewinding almost every song to take it all in. I know exactly where I'll be on Saturday at 1:45pm.

Also on my can't miss list: De La Soul, Yaeji, Jai Paul, Kara Jackson, Mannequin Pussy, Alan's Morissette.
