Madison welcomes Royel Otis as they kick off the U.S. and Canada leg of their 2024 tour! After stopping in Madison, they will be headed through Chicago and out to the eastern United States. Fans are excited and surprised to see them since Madison is one of the smallest cities they'll be playing on their “Glory to Glory” tour!

Hailing from Sydney, Australia, Royel Otis are an indie pop duo famous for their covers of popular songs. Royal Otis rose to fame in January 2024 following their release of a cover of Sophie Ellis-Bexter's “Murder on the Dancefloor” on the Australian radio station, Triple J. They later released a cover of The Cranberries' “Linger” which reached the Billboard Hot 100 in August 2024 after it gained traction on TikTok. 

Despite their rise to fame as a result of covering popular songs, they have three EPs and two wonderful albums, the newest titled “PRATTS AND PAIN” released in February 2024 just following their rise to popularity. Notable original songs off of their discography are “Oysters In My Pocket”, “Sofa King” and “Kool Aid”. “Sofa King” peaked at number 33 on the Rock & Alternative Airplay chart and is a personal favorite from their discography. Royel Otis is an exciting new indie rock artist and it will be interesting to see what they choose to do with their performance this weekend!
