Bruce Rave

Bruce Rave’s time in UW student radio led to a long stint at Capitol
Records where he was in radio promotion and then was brought into the A&R
department to sign bands. While in A&R, Bruce was responsible for The
Knack (“My Sharona”), Iron Maiden, Duran Duran, Thomas Dolby (“She Blinded
Me With Science”), The Motels, Missing Persons, Weird Al, The Church, and
others. Current music industry projects include management of the LA-Based
alternative band Trapdoor Social and contributions to the blog
blahblahblahscience.com. His “Go Deep” show can be heard on Indie1031 in
LA and is uploaded weekly to WSUM.
