Exploring the music in the words of poets and authors, the Stanza blends music with literature. Each week, I choose a line from a poem or short excerpt from a book and shape the songs in my show around the words, either by similarities in lyrics or connections in tone and emotion. A wide range of music will be featured on The Stanza, but you can expect to hear a lot of experimental/indie rock, funk, R&B, retro hip hop, and weirdness.
